After 2 rounds of steroids from a spider fight, renovations on our 1928 new old house, and a whole summer with 3 kids, 2 dogs, and a handsome man in a studio size guest house, I NEEDED A BREAK! Won't even talk about the lighting in the bathroom. I reached out to other blogger friends to find out what conferences or events were happening this fall and found out about The Hundred Event.  Perfect. Perfect location. Perfect price. Perfect material. Bloggers are so fun. And if you ever hang out with one, be prepared to have your food, shoes, purse, in my case, lights, tables, lamps, decor....PHOTOGRAPHED, hashtagged and shared! The Hundred Event offered sessions on Building Strategy with Pulp Designs, Blogging+Social Media with L'Amour De Paris and Casey Weigand, Professional Writing with Annie Fitzsimmons, The Brands Perspective with Peacock Alley and The Studio Digital, Small Business+Social Media with Bungalow Magazine.   We also heard Kendi Skeen from Kendi Everyday and Curt Steinhorst. (he is kinda amazing) Thank you to everyone who was involved in making the weekend productive and so much fun. I even kinda crashed a wedding...sort of. I wanted to dance. Brunch was served at the Aldredge House in Dallas. Loved. I creeped all over that house and ended up in the kitchen with the employees. Oh, hi!  The dishes and other details were displayed by Birch & Brass. 
A spider gladly sponsored my swollen but healing feet. Yes, for the turquoise tiling.  
I had to take a selfie with the queen of selfies. My new friend Janet takes the BEST selfies..she needs to teach a class on it.  Sweetest girl ever!
