After 2 rounds of steroids from a spider fight, renovations on our 1928 new old house, and a whole summer with 3 kids, 2 dogs, and a handsome man in a studio size guest house, I NEEDED A BREAK! Won't even talk about the lighting in the bathroom. I reached out to other blogger friends to find out what conferences or events were happening this fall and found out about The Hundred Event.  Perfect.

We found our house...it's in Buda, Texas.  Built in 1928...with all its cuteness and charm.  But then we found a different house.  One that didn't any work at all. One that had a new pipes, floors, A/C, PAINT on the walls. We were 2 hours too short in putting in our offer. Really God said, "Nope, I have a house for you and it's in Buda! " And then he said,

Uhm, yeah!!! Summer of 2013, Cody and I started talking about moving from South Austin to a place where I had more space to work and the boys could run.  I had already rented storage space for all my inventory and was tired of cleaning off the kitchen island to prepare dinner.  Not to mention the looks and little comments from the nicest neighbors.  They love the smell of spray paint! We decided spring of 2014 would be the best time to start looking for financial reasons and my business slows a little but then...so I thought...it never slowed. (Thanks to yall :) ) I needed an office to meet clients, open space to paint and some sort of storage for inventory....oh and within our budget! That's a tall drink order!  (is that the right saying?) So, we began the process.  Here are pictures of the house we sold.  

When we were deciding whether or not to add to our family of 4, Joey had already been in my tummy for 5 weeks.  His birth was the easiest of the three and was born a natural mohawk just like his dad.  We were all so excited to have a new toy to play with.     A few things about Joash Christopher Clayton: He was named after a king in the bible.  A strong leader. He does not like when other people sing.  He will quietly yet sternly say, "shut your mouth." Joey has a love for transportation. I have followed many trains, helicopters, trash trucks just to make him happy. He requested a street cleaner for Christmas. He loves, loves his big brothers. They are the law to him. Out of the three boys, Joey is the most affectionate and most polite. Every morning I get a "it's morning time...I love you....See how much I have grown."  Always gives Bless You's and please & thank you's.  This goes along with our theory of him being our own Benjamin Button...an old soul. Joey is such a joy.  I am proud to be his mom.  As Joey says "I am in love with loving you and I love your eyeballs."
